Born in 1974 in Japan. The creator of Monchhichi, Mr. Sekiguchi, combined the Kuta Kuta plush monkey with the vinyl face of the GeGe thumb sucking doll. He immediately made twins: a boy and a girl. The cuddly monkeys quickly became a sales hit in Japan and are still conquering children's hearts all over the world.
